This project consists of constructing sidewalks along Agler Rd from Sunbury Rd to Cassady Rd, along Sunbury Rd from Agler Rd north to Mifflin Middle School, and on Cassady Ave from Agler Rd north to Cassady Alternative Elementary School. Installation of the sidewalk will include curb ramps, drive approaches and signing and pavement markings. Stormwater drainage improvements will be made where necessary.

Portions of this sidewalk project are located on the Vision Zero Columbus High Injury Network due to the number of serious or fatal crashes, and/or crashes involving vulnerable road users like people walking, biking or on a motorcycle. These Vision Zero safety improvements are designed to increase visibility of people walking and separate these vulnerable road users from vehicle traffic.

It is also located in a Vision Zero Communities of Interest area. Residents in Communities of Interest may have fewer choices about how, when and where they travel, putting them at higher risk as they move around. Extra investment in roadway and other transportation safety improvements may be needed to enhance safety.
