Central College - Ulry Road Roadway Safety Improvements - Lee Road to Sandimark Place

This project consists of widening Central College Road, Ulry Road, and Lee Road for the addition of turn lanes at the intersection of Central College Road with Lee Road. Central College Road, from Lee Road to just east of Sandimark Place, will be widened to create a 3-lane section for the entire limits and providing an extension of the existing 3-lane section east of Sandimark Place. Complete street improvements will be provided to include a new shared-use-path along the southern, western, and eastern, legs of the project. Portions of roadways will be converted from urban/ditch sections to curbed sections and the pavement reconstructed. The wet detention basin to the southeast of the Central College Road and Ulry Road/Lee Road intersection will be dredged and expanded. A sanitary sewer subtrunk will be extended to the northwest corner of Central College Road and Ulry Road/Lee Road intersection.
