The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and City of Columbus are partnering on this project to upgrade Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus stops in the Columbus Downtown Business District (DBD) at 29 locations (list below) where there currently are no concrete bus pads. The project will involve single lane closures during construction. Sidewalks are anticipated to remain open but may include limited duration part width closures. COTA will relocate bus stops in advance of construction and then will relocate bus stops back following construction. COTA will communicate the bus stop changes to the public. Access to businesses will be maintained but may be limited based on proximity to construction activity.
