This project will make safety improvements to the intersection at Dublin-Granville Road at Ulry Road, and will improve connectivity for people walking and biking in the area. The improvements include adding eastbound and westbound turn lanes on Dublin-Granville Road. Dublin-Granville Road will also be widened and reconstructed between Ulry and Old Hamilton Road to accommodate a two-way left turn lane. A new mast arm traffic signal and street lighting will be installed at the intersection to improve visibility for all road users. Other improvements will include replacement of the existing sidewalk, curb, street trees and shared-use path (SUP). The SUP will be extended to approximately 100' west of Conifer Drive for a future tie-in to the Blendon Woods Metro Park. These Vision Zero safety improvements will improve drivers’ visibility of pedestrians and bicyclists and safely separate these vulnerable road users from vehicle traffic. Storm sewer improvements will be made as needed.
