Hilliard Rome Road at Renner Road - Intersection Safety Improvements

The project proposes to construct improvements to the intersection at Hilliard-Rome Rd and Renner Rd to enhance safety for all roadway users and to improve traffic flow at all approaches to the intersection, including the addition of turn lanes. The project will add new sidewalk on both sides of Hilliard-Rome Rd and the south side of Renner Rd, and a new shared-use path will be constructed on the north side of Renner Rd. This planned infrastructure will safely separate people walking and biking from vehicle traffic. Drainage improvements will also be made.

This project is located on the Vision Zero Columbus High Injury Network due to the number of serious or fatal crashes, and/or crashes involving vulnerable road users like people walking, biking or on a motorcycle.
