Leonard Avenue Safety Improvements - Under the Railroad Bridge

The project consists of roadway, pedestrian, and drainage improvements under the Leonard Ave railroad bridge between the intersections of 5th at Leonard and 5th at Leonard/Woodland. Currently under the bridge, there are two eastbound through lanes and one westbound through lane. All pavement will be full depth reconstruction. The pavement will have a new cross and profile slope. Curb and gutter and storm structures will be installed to address the drainage issues. Both sidewalks will be replaced and will sit higher than the roadway. New sidewalk is proposed on the south side of Leonard east of the bridge.
