Lockbourne Road at Obetz Road and Volta Drive Signal Replacement

This project will replace and upgrade the traffic signal at the intersection of Lockbourne Rd at Obetz Rd and Volta Dr. The new traffic signal will have backplates and pedestrian pedestals, with signal heads installed at the crosswalks. This Vision Zero project will improve drivers’ sight of signals and pedestrians, improving the safety of all road users at the intersection.

Additional work will include the extension of the signal interconnect to Parsons Rd, construction of sidewalks and ADA curb ramps, storm sewer improvements, pavement repairs and resurfacing, and signing and pavement markings.
