Polaris Parkway Pavement Additions - Gemini Place to South Olde Street Road

This project will make safety improvements to Polaris Parkway by adding a right turn lane from Gemini Place to approximately 1,004 feet south of South Old State Road. A span wire signal will be installed at the intersection of Polaris Parkway and Antares Avenue. A westbound right turn lane will be added on the east leg of Antares Avenue. New sidewalk will be constructed along the east side of Polaris Parkway from Gemini Place to South Old State Road and the east leg of Antares Avenue. These Vision Zero safety improvements are designed to better manage traffic flow, increase visibility of people walking and separate these vulnerable road users from vehicle traffic.
