This project will install a new shared use path (SUP) along the north side of Sullivant Ave from Georgesville Rd to S Wilson Rd. Sidewalk will be installed along the south side of Sullivant Ave from Georgesville Rd to Holly Hill Dr. These Vision Zero safety improvements will increase visibility of people walking and biking and separate these vulnerable road users from vehicle traffic. Other improvements will include new curb, curb ramps and drive aprons. Stormwater drainage improvements will be made where necessary.

This project is located on the Vision Zero Columbus High Injury Network due to the number of serious or fatal crashes, and/or crashes involving vulnerable road users like people walking, biking or on a motorcycle.

It is also located in a Vision Zero Communities of Interest area. Residents in Communities of Interest may have fewer choices about how, when and where they travel, putting them at higher risk as they move around. Extra investment in roadway and other transportation safety improvements may be needed to enhance safety.
